615 Third

615 3rd Avenue South - Nashville, TN                                                    SF


615 Third is one of Nashville’s newest Class A Office Building conveniently located in Nashville’s exploding SoBro district. With direct access to Downtown, Broadway, the Gulch, and a full complement of restaurants, shopping, and housing options.

The three Mathews related companies - The Mathews Company, R.C. Mathews Contractor, and Colliers International Nashville, moved into 615 Third in December of 2017. The building is anchored by Nashville legacy Engineering firm Barge Design Solutions Inc. 

Trolley Barns

33 Peabody Street, Nashville, Tennessee                                 80,000 SF

Originally constructed in the 1930s, the Trolley Barns is an adaptive reuse project of six single story historic buildings located in the revitalized Rolling Mill Hill neighborhood in Downtown Nashville, on the banks of the Cumberland River. In 2010, The Mathews Company converted the 80,000 square foot portfolio into mixed use, creative office, and retail space. The Trolley Barns was awarded with the Excellence in Development Award from the Urban Land Institute in 2013 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Elliston Place

The Mathews Company purchased this mixed use office/retail building in Midtown in March 2015. The project includes a connected four-story structured parking garage with 82 parking spaces. The building, which sits on an 0.75-acre site and consists of three floors. The site is uniquely positioned as it is in close proximity to Vanderbilt University and located on Elliston Place/Church Street, which is a main artery into downtown Nashville. 

St. Cloud Corner

500 Church Street - Nashville, TN                                             76,000 SF


The Mathews Company purchased this historic downtown building in 2011 and executed a plan to renovate and re-stabilize it. Upon reaching stabilized occupancy, The Mathews Company bought out its original partners in 2014 and established a new Tenant-in-Common structure for a long term hold. Major tenants include Puckett’s BBQ, Paramore Digital Advertising and Data consulting company DSI.

Hillsboro Hobbs

The Hillsboro-Hobbs buildings are located in Green Hills, within a short walk to Hill Center, The Mall at Green Hills, and the YMCA.

523 3rd Avenue South

The Mathews Company purchased 523 3rd Ave. S in 2014. The property underwent $1.5M in improvements, which included a 3rd floor observation deck and conference room.

Linbar Business Center

5000-5010 Linbar Drive - Nashville TN                                  160,000 SF


The Mathews Company purchased this 160,000 SF building in 2007 in a partnership with Alex Brown Realty. Only 58% occupied upon its acquisition in 2007, Linbar Business Center is located just minutes from the Nashville International Airport and consistently maintains an average occupancy above 80%, attracting a diverse range of tenants. The Mathews Company now holds a 100% ownership interest.

Airlane Buildings

The Mathews Company developed Airlane I, II and III in 1981, 1982 and 1984 respectively. These business service centers have been built out to approximately 34% office space. The Mathews Company currently manages, leases and holds ownership interests in the properties through separate local partnerships.

Buchanan Station

The Mathews Company purchased an interest in this space in 2011. Spanning 3.5 acres, Buchanan Station consistently maintains high occupancy rates with a quality tenant mix. It is located just one mile from Interstate 40 and four miles from Interstates 24, 65, and 440.

Martin Flats

465 Humphreys St.                                                                      40,227 SF 


This project is a 158-unit, 4-story mixed use microhousing project with 53 surface parking stalls. The small units are designed to be rented as workforce housing at market rates to those tenants looking for a great location at a relatively affordable price. Each unit is similar to a dorm room and includes a bathroom with a toilet and shower, an amenity area with a sink, half refrigerator and microwave, and furnished with a double bed, table and chair. Each floor has shared kitchens and living areas. The monthly rent includes Wi-Fi and utilities such as water/sewer, garbage and electricity. Amenities include a roof-top deck, a private courtyard, laundry rooms, and common bike storage. This project meets the large and consistent demand by workers (many in the service industry) for private apartments in walkable, close-in neighborhoods with easy public transportation access, great amenities, and short proximity to jobs in Downtown and Midtown. The neighborhood is growing quickly with new homes, businesses, and even the new Major League Soccer team whose stadium is approximately one mile south of this site. Other amenities in the neighborhood include various bars, restaurants, and retailers.
